Anonymity Intentionality Society – Episode 5

“Take 7!” Oh, if only we could record what it sometimes takes to record our recordings. Layer and stack and try to interweave Microsoft, Google, an a few other corporations as we try to simply save a conversation to pass along to you. Whew.

But, you don’t have to do more than simply listen to a couple of minutes of rants before we inevitably get around to a free-flow of ideas. Usually, an unintentional theme reveals itself. This time, we talked about living intentionally (ironic considering the unplanned nature of the talk), and living in and out of anonymity in society.

It is easy to unintentionally accept the norms shown to us in ads, which may have nothing to do with what is truly normal. Farmers can’t afford to get distracted by academic ideologies, or do so at their expense. Big city life can seem more vital, or at least paid better; but how many people do you know who are wealthy in money, but feel poor in intent? They may not know why they do what they do, but they do it, and live that life, because societal pressures reinforce it.

We also talked about sports versus games, civilians versus soldiers versus robots, and even wandered through the world of three-holers.

Thanks for listening and spreading the word. Now, pardon us as we try to negotiate with technology that doesn’t quite live up to its brochures.
