Sad to say, Steve Smolinsky had a stroke and passed away.
He was professionally known for roles like being a Project Faculty for the Wharton School. As he put it; “My clients will tell you, I help them see the big picture —how to improve their business, generate innovative ideas for solving problems, and provide practical sound advice that stands out from others.”
As others and I knew him, “Most importantly, I like working with people who are fun. After all, who wouldn’t rather work with someone who brings a smile to your face?“
He brought a smile to my face as a friend. That’s valuable enough.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. He preferred to be remembered in moments of connection, especially over a good meal or a thoughtful conversation.
For those who feel moved to honor his memory, one of his favorite nonprofits was Earthjustice, an organization he supported for many years.

He was a good man who did good work and was a good friend. He will be missed.
The blog and podcast will remain online, as is. Listen to the episodes to get yet another perspective on who he was.
